If your kid loves to move, groove, or has a lot of energy, this is the place for them! We will explore body and spatial awareness, and what it means to partner the imagination with movement and hip hop choreography basics!
Kids will learn basic music terminology, technique and song structure, along with how to craft intentional lyrics. Students will be encouraged to write from relatable experiences as they aim to create their own song!
Students study the core of improv work. They will participate in improv games and exercises that help them grow in confidence and team work while learning to tell stories!
Go behind the scenes and discover the tricks of the trade! During the first week, kids will focus on designing their own costumes and acquire tools for creating online theatrical backgrounds. The second week will highlight techniques of stage makeup application, including basic contouring and shadow, character makeup and special effects.
As one of the most valuable and ancient forms of human expression, Storytelling is at the heart of INK Theater. In this course, kids will learn the process for developing compelling plots and complex stories related to their own personal experiences.
